This 1961 triple-matching R69S AKA “Black Beauty” Was rejuvenated in the Winter of 2016 / 2017.  The original paint and patina was kept but numerous bits and pieces were either fixed or replaced.  Please see “projects” section for some details.  To us, this represents the “crown jewel” of the fleet.

Here are a few “after” pictures.  We decided to keep the original “fat seat” instead of going with a more fashionable “tractor” seat to keep the original spirit alive.  The smoothness and refinement in everything about this bike make it a truly special treasure.  Riding it brings one back in time to a truly simpler time.  Hard to wipe the smile off your face!
