The nickname “starlet” comes from the Krauser “Starlet” bags that come with it. This bike was purchased in October 2018. After being in storage for the past 20 years, it was decided to be used as an example of how to properly wake a bike up after prolonged storage. You can see the details on
After an almost complete overhaul of the front braking system (rebuilt master cylinder, new stainless steel brake lines), new tires as well as the “gettting it running” fixes, the bike is now road-worthy and up for sale. The odometer has been repaired and the torn seat cover has been replaced, as has the steering damper knob. It rides very well and is a welcome addition to the “collection”
